Registration for Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Tournament Opens on November 1st 

Redwood Shores, Calif – October 26, 2005 – To the victor goes the spoils … Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced the Best of the Battlefield online video game tournament – featuring a grand prize of $250,000 for the winning team. 

The online tournament will challenge gamers to rule the battlefield in EA’s new game Battlefield 2: Modern Combatâ„¢ available now for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Xbox® video game system from Microsoft.  Gamers can register for the online tournament at http://battlefield.ea.com beginning Tuesday, November 1st.
