Activision announced today that Guitar Hero: On Tour and its unique peripheral has established a new North American sales record by a "factor of eight." In the first seven days the game was on the market, over 300,000 copies were sold. So to break it down, the previous best selling Activision title on the DS only moved around 40K copies in its first week. Maybe Activision needs to get more involved with the DS...
