It looks like offices around the world will be empty on August 12th as EA announced today that
Madden 09 has gone gold and will be in stores on August 12. EA is claiming that there are 85 new features and enhancements. It's also worth mentioning that John Madden is no longer in the game as EA had brought in Chris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond in to do the announcing. I just hope they have a feature where your Pro-Bowl wide receiver becomes a team cancer and demands a trade in the off season.
