More On: GRID
Undeniably GRID is looking to be pretty if not pretty fun to play. Code Masters released this new trailer that showcases some of the tracks located in Japan and focuses on street courses and drift racing. You get a real feeling of bone crunch when you see the way collisions are done. Yet another racing game that I will play simply to destroy my collection of pretty cars. Muah ha ha ha.

CODEMASTERS PULLS E-BRAKE, DRIFTS - ALL NEW GRID VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS JAPANESE DRIFT CIRCUITS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 13, 2008 - Codemasters today unveiled an all-new gameplay video for GRID that gives gamers a look at the fender-crunching world of drift racing.  This video introduces never-before seen gameplay of Japan's J-Speed circuit, giving a taste of the nimble drift cars in GRID's Japan Career Tour.  The latest video is available for download at: http://bhimpact.gamespress.com/product_page.asp?i=847

Gamers will battle for position in classic drift cars such as the Nissan R-34 Skyline, Mazda RX-7 and Subaru Impreza STI as they tear around the corners of Shibuya Times Square or the Yokohama Docks.  Players can also race Nissan's powerful R390 GT1 supercar against the Audi R10 for victory at the classic Fuji Speedway.

GRID is an all-new race experience, taking players on a world tour of intricately designed racetracks and courses through Europe, the US and Japan.  In addition to the exciting, ready-to-race gameplay that gamers have come to expect from Codemasters' racing titles, GRID also features the most powerful race cars - new and classic, circuit and drift.  The upcoming game combines official circuit challenges and drifting events with road races and urban street competitions around the globe, including the most extensive range of courses in a Codemasters title to date.

GRID is set to release on June 3, 2008 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Games for Windows®, and Nintendo DS™.  GRID is rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB.  For the latest on the game, including the trailer video, go to www.grid-game.com and sign up for driver briefings.
