Paradox sends word that Diplomacy, their port of the classic board game, has shipped to stores today.  The game not only features a single player mode but an online multiplayer mode that will allow you to play against other humans over the internet.  Check back tomorrow for Tyler's review of the game.
DIPLOMACY MOVES into retail
The game of international intrigue ships to stores!

Stockholm, October 4, 2005 - Publisher and developer Paradox Interactive announced today the PC game DIPLOMACY has shipped to stores across North America, with Europe to follow later in October and November.  The game has a suggested retail price of $39.99 and is rated E for Everyone.  DIPLOMACY is under license from the Hasbro Properties Group, the intellectual property development arm of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS).

"The classic board game has been around for a long time and the concept is so ingenious that it will surely continue to be one of the more popular board games in the world," says Fredrik Lindgren, Director of Publishing at Paradox Interactive. "We set out to introduce DIPLOMACY to the 21st century by conveying the board game spirit onto the interactive arena."

Set in early 20th century, Paradox Interactive's PC adaptation brings the power struggles of seven mighty nations to life like never before.
