Sins of a Solar Empire Now Available at Retail
- New PC strategy title hits retail shelves -
PLYMOUTH, MI – FEBRUARY 5, 2008 -- Sins of a Solar Empire launched its retail availability today. Sins of a Solar Empire is the much anticipated PC real-time strategy game that combines the kind of depth normally seen in traditional turn-based strategy games with real-time game play. Players take on the role of leader of one of three races (Humans, Vasari, or Advent) for domination of the galaxy.
The game features stunning graphics, epic single player strategy gaming, and an outstanding multiplayer experience on the LAN or over the Internet. Early adopters have described the game as everything from “a successor to Homeworld” to “Kohan and Master of Orion 2 combined” to “Total Annihilation in space.” What makes Sins of a Solar Empire truly unique is its unrivaled scale: Players can manage an entire empire or zoom in on individual freighters delivering cargo to distant trade ports.
The game began its retail availability today for $39.95 at Best Buy at 2pm EST and is expected to be available at most retail outlets by the end of this week. Users can also order and download the Collector’s Edition for $49.95 from www.sinsofasolarempire.com.
The game requires Windows XP or Windows Vista and a video card with at least 128MB of video memory.
