One of the big features for PS3 version of
Unreal Tournament 3 is that it would be able to play mods developed on the PC version of the game. That piece of software wasn't included with the initial release of the game but if things go right it will be released next week according to this
post by Mark Rein in the official UT3 forums.
I'm interested to see how this pans out as this could be a boon to PS3 owners. Mods are really were the Unreal Tournament series separate themselves from the rest of the pack and I believe this is one first times anything like this has been made available on a major console.
