NetEase Games announced that its free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter, FragPunk, will now come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 29th, after being delayed from its original March release. To make up for the delayed launch, console players will receive bonus rewards for items missed out on during the game’s first season. Additionally, players who purchased the Pioneer Bundle (ahem) will get even more gifts once the game launches, though it’s worth nothing that NetEase already issued refunds to those of us who pre-ordered as well.

If you’re never heard of FragPunk before, it is a tactical team-based shooter that utilizes Shard Cards to dramatically alter matches, sometimes in absurd ways. The console versions will also feature cross-platform play and progression, as well as aim assist and controls optimized for controllers.
