The VR evolution in my own household keeps chugging along. Between getting smoked by our EIC in an VR real time strategy game, and setting up VR pinball in my living room in mixed reality, my absolute favorite VR experience has been Maestro. Conducting full orchestras playing classical pieces, is kind of the dream. The game has added more songs to the line up.
Ramin Djawadi - Main Theme (Game of Thrones)
Howard Shore - The Bridge of Khazad-dum (LOTR)
Jaques Offenbach - Orpheus in the Underworld
Franz Liszt - Totentanz (4 minute version)
Dimitri Shostakovich - Symphony No. 10, 2nd Movement
Titled the Doombound DLC, Double Jack is also bringing a new background for everyone, complete with a full transformation of the orchestra. This is out TODAY for Meta Quest, and Steam, and includes the 5 songs, the background, new gloves and a new baton. The issue here is that I have watched one episode of Game of Thrones, and 30 minutes of Lord of the Rings. So yeah, my playthrough, albeit can't be streamed because copyright, would be interesting to say the least. Watch this, and pretend it's me.
