MindsEye, the new high-octane shooter from Leslie Benzies sets June 10th launch date

Developer Build A Rocket Boy, the studio founded by former Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies has announced a release date for its debut game. That game is MindsEye, a high-octane techno-thriller that is launching June 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are available now across platforms and will net you an automatic upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, which comes with a bunch of in-game goodies, a horde mode mission, and extra seasonal content.

MindsEye follows protagonist Jacob Diaz – played by Alex Hernandez – who is searching for answers about his troubled past and finds himself ensnared in a web of corporate and government intrigue. In the fictional city of Redrock, a power-hungry Mayor and a Big Tech mogul have created a metropolis where consumer robots perform most manual tasks, and the algorithm (that damn algorithm) has control over a network of omniscient devices. The scary part is that it doesn’t sound too far from reality. Playing as Jacob, you will shoot and drive your way through a cinematic campaign with absurd production values, if the new story trailer below is anything to go by.

One final note, and perhaps the most interesting, is that MindsEye will also incorporate one of Build A Rocket Boy’s other projects – ARCADIA – a custom content creation and distribution tool that allows them to quickly create AAA content, which will manifest in the form of bonus missions post-launch.
