First-person RPG Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon releasing Q2 2025, new demo available now

Polish indie developer Questline Games has announced that its first-person RPG, Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, will launch in the second quarter of this year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A free demo is now available for download across platforms, which I have excitedly done already. The team also shared a new gameplay trailer which sheds some light on the world, some of the characters we will meet, glimpses of combat, the skill tree, and even character customization.

If like me, you are just learning of Tainted Grail for the first time, it is an open zone RPG, with three massive areas to explore, 250 unique NPCs that are fully voiced, over 200 side quests, more than 60 enemies, 70 dungeons, and a branching main quest with multiple endings that promises over 50 hours of content. Those are some big numbers, and it all sounds terrific. I can’t wait to see what this demo is all about – a quick glance at YouTube thumbnails from videos about the game’s Steam Early Access version have me hopeful.
