Maximum Entertainment, the folks behind similarly named Maximum Football, have revealed a second season of content for the free-to-play football sim. Dubbed “Vice Blitz”, the new season is available now featuring new seasonal content, an improved progression system, and new stadium.
First up is Seaside Park Stadium, a new facility with Art Deco architecture inspired by real life Southeastern college football fields. It joins season one’s aircraft carrier stadium as post-launch facilities available to players. The progression system has also been revamped, upping the pace of season unlocks to better reward players for their time on the gridiron.
Maximum Football is available now on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, with a PlayStation 5 version planned for later this year. I’m desperately hoping that when it does kickoff on PS5, they will provide us with an opportunity to get this premium content that has been a part of the first two seasons. I mean, who doesn’t want to play football on an aircraft carrier?
