Can I call this a cozy game? I'm going to call this survival deck building game a cozy game, because it's just SO darn cute.
So whoever decided to mix a strategy deck building game with a cozy nature-based game is clearly reaching for the niche I'm a part of. Finger guns and a wink to you, PQube.
Grow The Seed, the newest (cozy) deck-building survival game by PQube is set for Early Access on Steam this coming May. This adorable little game allows you to play as a plant struggling to survive against the seasons and other looming dangers. Utilizing standard elements, such as deck building, resource management (light, water, nutrients), and even a bit of tower defense, Grow The Seed takes players from seedling to tree. But it's not without it's struggles, you'll also have to fend off worms, moles, crows, and as you level up, you'll come head to head with the game bosses, a giant cow and a goat. A cow and goat as the boss?! Please just TRY to tell me this isn't a cozy game.
