There, I said it. Season Six of THE FINALS, dubbed Rising Stars, debuts March 20th and this may be the best time to jump in if you haven’t yet. For starters, team deathmatch is returning to the game as a permanent mode after debuting as a limited-time event and let me tell you – it totally rocks. You might read that and think, “how can the best competitive shooter in the world not have TDM?”. That’s the beauty of THE FINALS – it is so much more than your typical first-person shooter, anchored by its team-based cash grab modes and fully destructible environments.
Beyond the newfound permanency of team deathmatch, season six also includes three new weapons – the ARN 220 SMG for the light class, CB-01 repeater for medium, and the M134 minigun (!!) for all you heavies out there. Additionally, this season has a new round of fake, in-game sponsors which add more unlockable customization items, a re-work of the Las Vegas arena, new maps for Power Shift mode, a new battle pass, and, of course, a new banging soundtrack.
