Back in October, I played a demo for a platformer called Mainframes. It was tough, it was nostalgic, and before I knew it, it was over. I wanted more of the nostalgic CPU goodness. Now I have my chance.
It was announced today, that Mainframes, by one of my favorite people, The Arcade Crew, is out today for Nintendo Switch, and Steam/PC. The game is about a disc trying to find their way through an operating system, that looks a LOT like something from 1995. You not only use your controller to control Floppy, but to move and manipulate the windows so you can get to the end of each level.. You can expand, minimize, and even move them around. There are even hidden secrets and paths along the way.
It should stand out as one of the coolest platform puzzle games out there. Right now, it's on sale for a cool $10. Check it out.
