Simulation specialists Astragon Entertainment have announced Seafarer: The Ship Sim, coming to PC this Summer as an early access release for $24.99. Seafarer invites you to experience all that life at sea has to offer as you join different factions, each offering unique missions and scenarios, including cargo transportation, treasure recovery, open-water rescues, firefighting, and more. It also features a fully interactive ship experience, allowing you to walk freely around your tugboat or massive freighter, perform maintenance, operate machinery, and, of course, get behind the wheel.
The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and utilizes NVIDIA WaveWorks 2.0 for a dynamic sandbox with changing weather, day/night cycles, and realistic physics. As a massive sim nerd, I cannot wait to check this one out. Have a look at the new trailer below:
