Bitmap Bureau, developers of the amazing Smash TV inspired shooter Xeno Crisis have announced they are working on a Terminator game titled Terminator 2D: No Fate. You would think that a movie like Terminator 2 of all things would make for some amazing videogames but no, all the games we got back then based on T2 were pretty much trash except for the Light Gun arcade game. This game is looking like the game we should have gotten all those years ago. In Terminator 2D: No Fate you can play as either Sarah Connor, John Connor or the T-800 and the game will feature multiple game modes and multiple endings and best of all, classic arcade style side scrolling run and gun action.
This just looks incredible to me and looks just like something you would play in the Arcades and then get for the SNES or Sega Genesis. If the team here follows the same path as they did with Xeno Crisis, we very well may gets ports of this game to every console imaginable.
Terminator 2D: No Fate releases on September 5th 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X, Switch and PC.
