Mor(e)phin updates for Rita's Revenge

More On: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind

Digital Eclipse seems to roll out all the good news at once. After the amazing physical edition news from their gold series, they've followed up with a massive update for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind. Digital Eclipse is also passing some of the credit to you, the people. Hopefully you'll be satisfied.

Coming later this week, The Power Blast update should hit all systems. This includes upgradable rangers via unlockable stat points. You can upgrade up to three stats as you see fit, Strength, Defense and Speed. Morphers change the over all replayable experience. You can change the enemy damage, the gravity, and you can turn that whole forementioned stat upgrade thing off altogether.

The update adds a special move called the Power Blast that knocks back enemies at the cost of a little vitality. It's better than losing it all, though. Quick recovery will also be part of this combat overhaul, letting you recover after getting knocked down, and not hearing those repetitive quips the rangers have.

Remappable controls round off the update, with a little bit more news that online improvements are still coming. Digital Eclipse warns that the 6 players on 6 different machines will cause more latency, but if you want it, they're working on giving it to you. The Cowabunga Collection would like a word. You can see the full details here. Rita's Rewind is available on pretty much everything.
