More On: Dragonkin: The Banished

Upcoming hack ‘n slash RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, is heading to Steam Early Access on March 6th, with a free demo going live on February 20th as part of Steam Next Fest. The Diablo-like will also be released for consoles upon its 1.0 release.

Today, the team at developer Eko Software has shared a new look at the game’s world and hub city in two new videos. In the world of Dragonkin, powerful dragons reign over the land where humans once thrived, creating a variety of creatures from their own blood that players will encounter on their journey. The game will have several biomes when Early Access launches, with more added in time. Those available on March 6th will include the Swamps of Ja’Ksara, the Jungle of Kalah, the Old World Archipelago, and the underwater location of Delphaipolis; all of which you can see in action in the video below.

When not out adventuring, players will spend most of their time in the City of Montescail, the last remnant of humanity. The city is filled with merchants and vendors where you will be able to trade, craft weapons, and more. Montescail will grow alongside you using a currency known as Prosperity, which lets you upgrade the merchants and general level of the city, allowing access to better gear, storage, and new services. The city will also be where you can meet up with other players, once the online features are added later in Early Access. You can check out a video about the City below, as well.
