Call of Duty fans have just wrapped up a couple of holiday events with an extended Double XP event and a Squid Games crossover. This is all leading up to the official launch of season 2 for the newest game in the series, Black Ops 6.
Season 2 is currently prepping to launch on January 28, 2025 and will bring a bunch of new content to the game. For starters, players will get a total of 5 new maps, three of which will be available from the start of the season (Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline), and two others launching later (Bullet and Grind). There are several new gameplay modes, perks, killstreaks, camos, and bonuses found as well. At least 4 new weapons are being added: PPSH-41 SMG, CYPHER 091 Assault Rifle, FENG 82 LMG, and the TR2 Marksman Rifle, as well as additional attachments and modifications.
Zombies players will also be getting a new map (The Tomb), as well as a new wondrous weapon, gobblegums, augments and rewards. All of the additions are highlighted in the trailer below:
