Time Crisis 4 is hitting the PlayStation 3 and it's good to get some light gun games on the console but there's a catch and a pretty stupid one at that. If you want to play with a friend on split-screen,
you have to buy two copies of the game. What? Well, it seems they don't sell the gun controller separately. For two player action you're going to have to pony up $180 right now. That's pretty bad. Other games let you purchase their accessories independently (Well, sorry to Wii and PS3 owners of
Guitar Hero 3 for now and of course all you
Rock Band folks). I hope this is just a temporary decision and Namco finds out they are doing a no-no with forcing consumers to purchase two copies of
Time Crisis 4 so that they can play it with a friend. If not, we might have to rely on some third party company to come to the rescue.
