The first season of Marvel Rivals launches in a few days and today we got trailers for Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman, two of the four Fantastic Four characters that will be launching with the update.
Mr. Fantastic is a Duelist but from the look of his abilities he could be a Duelist/Vanguard hybrid. He looks very tanky and can use his stretchy arms to attack enemies from a distance. He can also use his arms to grab enemies and slam them into each other to deal damage. One of the most terrifying abilities he has is that he can reflect attacks from the enemy. We see this when Ironman fires off his Maximum Pulse ultimate and it gets reflected back to Ironman, killing him in the process. The tankiness part comes in with his other ability where he grows into a giant and gains a shield. His ultimate ability shows him leaping into the air and slamming down on the ground multiple times.
We also got a reveal trailer for Invisible Woman. Her basic attacks looks to heal teammates while dealing damage to enemies and she can also place a shield down on the battlefield to block incoming damage. As you would expect one of her abilities allows her to become invisible which will be great for escaping enemies or for flanking. She also has an ability where she can pull forward enemies coming or it can be used to push enemies away. This can be used to get enemies off teammates if they are in danger or as we see in the trailer it can be used to push enemies off the map. Her ultimate shows her placing a large circle on the ground. Any teammates in the circle will be completely invisible to the enemy.
Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman and the rest of the Fantastic Four will be released in the season one update of Marvel Rivals this Friday.
