The folks at developer Aesir Interactive have shared a fresh look at gameplay for Ambulance Life: A Paramdedic Simulator, coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series in early 2025. This new trailer is our best look yet at the moment-to-moment gameplay, and it is looking great.

Similar to Aesir’s previous game – Police Simulator: Patrol Officers – you will get to select your shift and how long to work at the start of each in-game day. From there, you and your partner paramedic will respond to various callouts around the open-world city of San Pelicano, which is inspired by San Franciso. When you arrive on scene, you’ll need to triage patients by analyzing the situation and their symptoms, choosing the appropriate course of treatment to stabilize them and transport them to the hospital.

As you can more experience, large-scale catastrophic events will occur, putting all your skills as a paramedic to the test. Your actions and decisions will affect who lives and who dies, as the game presents you with moral dilemmas based on the patient’s chances of survival. If it sounds like a lot to handle all at once, Ambulance Life will feature two game modes – classic and simulation – which allow you to get more assistance in diagnosing and treating patients or take the training wheels off and leave it all up to you.

Listen, I’m going to need you to start an IV and inject this straight into my veins. Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator cannot come soon enough.
