I don't ever want to be the bearer of bad news, and neither does Digital Eclipse. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is still coming. The multiplayer beat-em-up has hit a bit of a snag as of today. The game is still being released on December 10th, on almost everything. The Nintendo Switch version will come out on the 19th. The bad news is that Online play will be limited to only 2 people when it launches for the Steam and Playstation versions. The Xbox version, and the later released Switch version, will have no online functionality at all. Digital Eclipse assures that the offline mode will be full and intact, and will add the online modes later.
They jokingly blame Robo Rita in the blog post. In my opinion, I say delay the whole thing. I would rather them release a complete and perfect game, than to update us to make their monster grow. All in all, I'm excited for the game. We still love you, Digital Eclipise, but I personally wouldn't be upset, if you blow the Dragonzord flute, and take a little bit more time to set Rita free and conquer Earth. I may be a little upset that I still haven't played it. I thought we were a team.
Update: Today, Digital Eclipse revealed that the Switch version will be available as scheduled. -JM
