We’re inching closer to the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and with each new trailer and blog post, the game looks better and better. Yesterday, the folks at BioWare shared a new gameplay trailer featuring a dragon boss fight – makes sense, right? In it, we get to see a mage build of the game’s protagonist, Rook, take on an ice dragon alongside two companions, Taash and Lucanis.
The trailer shows some lightly edited footage (I’m assuming for time constraints) of the moment-to-moment combat, mage abilities, as well as how the new ability wheel works mid-combat which lets you coordinate attacks with your companions. It looks glorious, and I really can’t wait to play this game. Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches October 31st for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
