NetEase Games has announced life simulation RPG, Floatopia, for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile, with a release planned for 2025. The whimsical RPG sees players living in a fantasy world full of floating islands and superpowers. Explore the various islands to find new discoveries, create farms, find the perfect fishing hole, visit your friends’ homes, and more. Each island you visit is said to have its own unique culture and biome, from deserts, to icy fields.
You’ll also be able to catch and collect animals, change the weather at your beck and call (what else are superpowers good for?), throw parties, build structures with your pals, dance, and visit each other’s islands. Oh, and you can fly, you can totally fly. It looks wonderful, and like another game too adorable to ignore. Check out the extended announcement trailer below:
