Prime Video has announced a new television series based on video games called Secret Level, from the creators of Love, Death + Robots. The anthology-style series will consist of 15 episodes and will be available exclusively on Prime Video beginning December 10th. Some of most beloved gaming properties of all-time will be featured in the series, including Dungeons & Dragons, Mega Man, PAC-MAN, and Warhammer 40,000. The full list also includes Armored Core, Concord (yes, that one), Crossfire, Exodus, Honor of Kings, New World: Aeternum, PlayStation Studios, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, and Unreal Tournament. Each episode will tell a unique story within each game’s lore and universe, according to Prime Video leadership:
“Secret Level weaves a tapestry of iconic games across multiple mediums, to tell a series of unique and captivating stories,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “Created and led by Tim Miller, Blur Studio, and Supervising Director Dave Wilson, each episode will take our global Prime Video customers on a brand new journey with breathtaking animation and imaginative storytelling.”
