I’m going to be completely honest with you, I have no idea what Infinity Nikki is, though I have a slightly better idea after its new trailer from Gamescom. Still, I am intrigued by its charm and adorable vibes, which you can see in that trailer below. Infinity Nikki is apparently the fifth entry in the Nikki series, a so-called dress-up RPG where the protagonist explores, solves puzzles, and collects outfits that grant her various abilities, such as flying or fishing. Befitting of the fifth game in the franchise, Infinity Nikki is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, which explains its striking visuals. It is also executive produced by former Legend of Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga.
The Nikki series has enjoyed more than 100 million downloads worldwide, which this newest installment looks to grow upon that when it releases for PC, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS. No release date has been announced, but a closed beta test is gearing up for Android and Apple devices, which you can register for on the Infinity Nikki website.
