Dontnod, developers of the original Life is Strange dropped a new trailer for their upcoming game Lost Records: Bloom and Rage at Opening Night Live complete with gameplay and a release date.
From the trailer we can see the game follows four friends during their teenage years and we get some gameplay here with some of the dialogue options. The heart icon after picking certain options leads me to believe there will be romance options in the game. While we don't see exactly what, it appears that some wild stuff occurs before we jump to the next segment.
What I assume is the second episode seems to jump ahead in time with the girls now as adults with two of them meeting in a cafe. Based on this conversation, it seems like something may have happened to where the girls may have gone their separate ways and haven't spoken to each other in that time since. Either way I am very intrigued to see how this story pans out.
The first episode of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage will release on February 18th, 2025 while episode 2 will launch on March 18th, 2025
