The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is getting a season pass a year after release

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is approaching its one year anniversary and the developers have provided us with a road map for content that's coming within the next six months including a season pass which is being called a "content pass". 

Phase 1 of the content pass will cost $19.99, will run from September 2024 - February 2025 and will include the following content...

• New Victim
• New Family Member
• Early access to a new game mode called "Rush Week" 
• 1 New Execution Pack
• 4 New Cosmetics 

There will also be more content released throughout this timeframe that is not part of the Content Pass which includes two execution packs, a new skin for Leatherface, a victim hair cosmetic pack and four addition cosmetics. 

Free content will include the new game mode "Rush Week" a new map and weather varients for existing maps. 

I have to say that for only $20, that is a pretty decent amount of content you are getting considering new family members and victims have been costing $10 each and the cosmetics are $5 each.

One of my biggest issues with the game has been how long it's taken for new content to be added and im happy that this year they have added a ton already and there is more to come. However one thing I really hope is added is some kind of progression or unlocking system. You do have stats in the game but once you reach level 100 that's pretty much it. There's nothing to unlock, no currency to earn, nothing left to accomplish which to me is very important in games to keep me engaged.
