Fresh off my trip to Cleveland for Summerslam, I finally got the chance to get my hands on the WWE2k24 last two DLC packs. As they keep adding superstars to the roster, I find myself enjoying it a little more. but just a little.
As you know, the Post Malone pack came with the aforementioned, Sensational Sherri, Mosh and Thrasher of the Headbangers, The Honky Tonk Man, Jimmy Hart, and their superstar cards. The Pat McAfee pack contains him, Ty Schmit, Boston Connor, AJ Hawk, Darius Butler, and their AMETHYST superstar cards. I do, unfortunately, have to agree with the internet, and their disappointment on one thing.
I think it's cool that Pat McAfee got all of his friends and colleagues in the game, and the models look great. It's just that they all come out to their own music, but the same titantron video. And their all from their states. "From Ohio, A.J. Hawk." It's just odd that they couldn't get someone to say "Dayton". WWE has been to Dayton several times. This will come across to users as a little lazy.
Regardless, if you didn't get the season pass, you can skip this one if you so choose, but even if you did, and wanted some extra characters to beat up on, by all means. They're all 85 in their My faction cards, so you also have the option to charge through my faction with them, if you so choose. Do whatever you like. Just give credit where it's cool. It's not all that bad. It's 10 bucks. The game is on sale right now, too.
