I did it. And not only did I shell out cold hard cash for a game I probably won't play as often as I should, I bought EA Sports College Football, for my Xbox Series. I also purchased the deluxe edition, so I can play it today, around 4pm EST. Those who didn't, will play it later this week. We also haven't received any review codes for it yet, so I have my reasons. What are the reasons? Well...
Three of the members of my young adult improv team Kodeswitch is buying it, and I'm bonding with them. Half of the Gaming Nexus staff is buying it, and I want to play it with them. Lastly, I'm from Ohio, and I want to choose Michigan just to make people mad. And since it's cross play, I can do that a lot. I also wanted to be a part of history. I almost bought a physical copy, but I got $10 off being a member of Game Pass Ultimate, which nets me EA Play. Yes, EA has my money. I don't know if I'm proud of it yet. They put Christian McCaffrey on the cover of Madden, and I'm a little upset with them for that. Hopefully, they make it up to me, because look at this game play. LOOK AT IT! I'm not a fan of any particular team, nor College Football, but man...this could really get me into it.
