I have sunk hours into Overwatch, both 1 and 2, and because I have a lot on my plate, I haven't really got into the new characters, or patches, or controversy that is Overwatch. I just casually go in, play the game, and leave. Then Wolfen Films yells at me for not reading the patch notes, because if it didn't affect Sombra, it's doesn't affect me.
Well now, the sneaky people at Blizzard must've heard that I wasn't playing as often, because backlog. They decided to draw me back in with a full Transformers crossover. These are all cosmetic items, mind you, and they don't improve the gameplay whatsoever. I did, however, have to learn a new character, in Rammatra, for he has a Megatron skin. The Overwatch 2 season 11 update also brings and Arcee skin to Illari, a Bumblebee skin to Bastion, and Reinhardt as that foolish Optimus Prime. With this, they also come with highlight intros, and victory poses. The Bastion Bumblebee transformation comes with the sound effect and everything, and Optimus Prime does look super cool.
If you want to unlock the entire collection, you can do so, but you can also grab them individually. I won't put the prices here, because yeah. And I'm not to sure if you can earn the skins, though I do believe you can earn the player cards. I went through and gave em a look. This is all going on while Mercy gets a pink skin for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the Summer Games. Lots to choose from. Rammatra, it's you and I, now. And yeah, the patch notes are here. My new character is nerfed already.
