Years of waiting and patience for Metroid fans finally paid off today at the end of today's Nintendo Direct. Metroid Prime 4 finally got a new trailer complete with gameplay as well and it looks really good. The game also got a new title and is now officially Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
We will have to wait a little bit longer but not much longer as the game is scheduled to be released in 2025. After the disaster of a game that was Other M, It makes me so happy to see Samus finally being Samus again after the latest releases of the game that went back to basics. While no news on the Switch successor was released during the show, it would not surprise me at all of this game was a launch title for the system.
