The week of Keigh-3 is typically a fruitful time for me – and gamers at-large – hoping to see new trailers and release dates for the games on my wishlist. Thankfully, several of my big ones showed-up, and showed out, including sandbox police action game The Precinct, from Fallen Tree Games, which is launching August 15th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
If you’ve been under a rock, or, like me, acquired a newborn baby, The Precinct sees you playing as rookie cop Nick Cordell Jr. as he tries to restore order to the lawless Averno City. By tackling one procedurally generated crime at a time, you will fight back against urban decay, corruption, and gang activity. Write parking tickets, bust-up bank heists, engage in high-speed chases; you name it – it’s all there in The Precinct. Check out the new release date trailer below.
