We all thought 2023 was a crazy year for video game releases – and it was – but 2024 continues to say, “hold my beer”. The latest beer-holding moment is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which continues to impress each time we see it. Developer War Horse Studio showed off a new trailer at Summer Game Fest that shared glimpses of the medieval life we’ll be leading as returning protagonist Henry.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will allow players to approach the world of Bohemia as they see fit, shaping the world around them with their choices. The combat has been re-worked to make it more accessible to newcomers, which was perhaps the original game’s biggest criticism, and something you’ll be doing a lot of in the sequel, it appears.
The first game was underrated, but part two looks like it will be taking a big step forward. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launches this year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
