I can't believe we've had one full year with Street Fighter 6. And we've seen four additional characters, balance updates, and a World Tour mode that is just filled with so much lore. Confirming that the whole Street Fighter universe started in Metro City, just as Street Fighter Alpha eluded to. And even with all the balance patches, and the new mechanics, the "scrubbiest" Street Fighter yet has "low tier" characters winning major tournaments, like MenaRD's Blanka, and Elchakotay's Lily. Ken is no longer pulling punches, and Ryu is using a credit card. It's just a game I have put many hours into, and I haven't played a fighting game this much in a long time. Check out this info graphic to get an idea of what I mean. The numbers here are staggering.
All that to be said, Street Fighter 6 is celebrating their 1 year anniversary with a Battle Pass. New cosmetics, including a Li-Fen costume. There are also Season 1 items that are on sale, and promises of a drive ticket rush mode. I personally think she's going to be added to the game. Of course the premium version nets you Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper Fighting, and Capcom promises more to come. Keep watching, keep fighting. I have a feeling that 6 characters will be added this year. That's not a leak, it's a hope. Put your hadoukens down.
