College Football 25 shows deep dive, makes me want to buy it now

More On: EA Sports College Football

I am not a Madden guy. I haven't played a full season of Madden in forever. And I mean, a very long time. It just was never my thing. I didn't get into the dynasty, and the my player, and none of that. The last few Madden's i've played was because of a Gamepass trial, or it was a cheap end of season deal. Needless to say, I can hold my own. It's video game football. I can read a playbook. Teach me turbo and juke. Show me how to intercept, and throw a bullet pass, and let's go. What could possibly go wrong?

This is all about to change for me. I might even dig into reviewing the first College Football game by EA in years. Today, EA released a Gameplay Deep Dive, narrated by Kirk Herbstreit. He walks you through how something as little as crowd noise can effect your players if they're an away team, down to frazzling your routes. He walks you through how if your played gets hit in the arm, it can affect the rest of the game for them. There are even features where players have certain game I.Q, such as ball carrying, and defensive perks. There are 134 schools represented here, all with their own stadiums, environments, and traditions. It's official. Come hell or high water...I'm getting this. This can't be just because we don't have a College Football game? I live in Ohio, and I hate Buckeye fans, and don't necessarily watch College football, because of them. But I would be lying to say I wasn't hyped. Just watch the video and tell me I'm lying.
