Fresh off the heels of the recent first aid update, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers announced its largest update yet is coming this summer – the Highway Patrol Expansion. The new DLC was teased in the trailer below and will feature an extension of the game map beyond the city of Brighton, as well as new tasks like speed monitoring, cargo checks, highway assistance, roadside fires, and car chases. I’m absolutely buzzing over this news.
The expansion will also add two new police vehicles – the Interstate Police Vehicle and Endurance Police Vehicle. The IPV has a nice “Smokey and the Bandit” vibe, while the EPV allows officers to stop fleeing vehicles more easily at full speed.
The Highway Patrol Expansion drops this summer for $19.99 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. New players can also grab the Gold Edition of the game which includes the base game, Garage Bundle, and Highway Patrol Expansion.
