After announcing last week that it would bring four games to other platforms, Xbox has now confirmed the four titles, as well as release details for each game. The four games in question are Pentiment from Obsidian Entertainment, Hi-Fi RUSH from Tango Gameworks, Grounded from Obsidian, and Sea of Thieves from Rare.
All four titles will release before the summer, with narrative adventure Pentiment dropping tomorrow, February 22nd on PS4, PS5, and Switch. Rhythm-based action game Hi-Fi RUSH will go next on March 19th, with pre-orders now live for PS5. After that will be co-op survival game Grounded, releasing April 16th across PS4, PS5, and Switch with cross-platform play between Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC. And last, but certainly not least, is shared-world pirate game Sea of Thieves, which comes to PlayStation 5 on April 30th. It will be available for wishlisting on the PS Store starting February 22nd and will also support cross-platform play. Interestingly, it will not be available for pre-order it seems – at least not right way.
I’m pretty stoked to play Sea of Thieves on PS5, and I think it’s going to be a big hit for team green on team blue’s machine.
