Exit Plan Games has announced that its hit sandbox game Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is getting the next-gen (current-gen) upgrade treatment on March 5th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. The update will be free for all current owners of the game and will allow you to experience the smash hit in beautiful 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
If you’re out of the loop, Bang-On Balls appears to be bang-on, garnering a perfect 10/10 review score from this very website. The sandbox adventure lets you explore various themed biomes from feudal Japan to the 1960s space race while completing platforming challenges, engaging in boss fights, and gathering tons of collectibles. There’s also four-player online co-op or two player local co-op if you want to Bang-On Balls with your friends.
I own the PS4 version of the game, and truthfully, experienced some performance issues at launch that kept me from hanging around. Sounds like it is time to see what I’ve been missing.
