RTS based on the Touhou universe comes to Steam Next Fest

I want to make it painfully obvious why you’re seeing news about The Touhou Empires on this site. Did you see the image above this paragraph? That’s why. How do you see something like that and not need to learn more? Who are these characters, what are they about, are the bows in the beard really tying the outfit together or just feel tacky? I know nothing about the Touhou universe, but I do love a good RTS, so I’m interested in learning more. “Wage real-time war in the Touhou universe, and call upon the aid of Reimu, Marisa and more than 30 beloved Touhou heroines to sway the tide of battle.” You can uncover the source of corruption in a 20-stage story mode. If playing against others is more your RTS style you can play online with up to 3v3 multiplayer skirmishes.

There is no firm release window other than 2024 for The Touhou Empires. But, Steam Next Fest starts on February 5, if you’re interested in trying out the RTS you’ll have your shot then.
