More On: Breachers

Developer Triangle Factory has launched its tactical 5-on-5 competitive shooter Breachers for PlayStation VR2 today after a slight delay due to the Sony certification process. In Breachers you play as an Enforcer or Revolter, working to either disarm or defend bombs on the map in Rainbow Six Siege-esque gameplay. You’ll have a variety of weapons and gadgets at your fingertips such as drones, breaching foam, cloaking devices, mines, and static field emitters. Weapons include assault rifles, pistols, SMGs, and shotguns, which can all be modified with attachments to fit your playstyle. As you can see from the new PS VR2 launch trailer below, Breachers is heavily inspired by Siege – I mean, you can even rappel through windows.

On PS VR2, Breachers features support for adaptive triggers and 120hz with no reprojection necessary, which sounds glorious. And if you’re worried about the player base for a VR multiplayer game, fret not, as Breachers also supports cross-platform play with its other versions.
