Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a side-scrolling action game from Ubisoft Montpellier is just around the corner, releasing on January 18th across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Earlier this week, the studio shared a new trailer setting the stage for the game’s story at The Game Awards. You play as Saragon, a warrior on an epic adventure to rescue an abducted prince and save the kingdom. The new trailer also includes glimpses of some of the mythological enemies and locations you will visit across the Metroidvania-inspired adventure.
Players will explore deeper and deeper into Mount Qaf, acquiring new powers, solving puzzles, and completing side quests along the way. Perhaps the best news to come out of its appearance at The Game Awards is the announcement of a free demo dropping on January 11th, so if you’re on the fence, you can take it for a spin a week before the game launches.
