Last week Atari announced that Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration will be getting a free update with new games. Today Atari released an official trailer and revealed the games that will be added to the collection. The collection will include official Atari 2600 games, an Atari Lynx game, homebrews and some unreleased prototypes.

This is one of my favorite games from 2022. This was such a unique and innovative way to celebrate the history of the company by not just making it a compilation of games to play. It was like a playable documentary with tons of interviews with employees from the company and former game developers along with tons of key art and press releases for their classic arcade games.
