If you’ve ever enjoyed the old 1980s cartoons, you might be interested to know that Mythforce, a first-person cooperative roguelike from developer Beamdog that released today on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Mythforce sports a striking cartoon art style in a world full of crypts and castles to fight through with up to four friends in drop-in/drop-out co-op (Switch only supports two players). It features nine story episodes across three chapters and an overhauled progression system based on feedback from Early Access. You’ll use magic and melee weapons to crawl through dungeons gathering magical artifacts and upgrades to help you grow stronger with each run.
