Nexon has delayed the open beta for its upcoming free-to-play third-person PvE co-op action RPG shooter (yes, all of that) The First Descendant to September 19th across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It was originally scheduled to begin on August 22nd, but the development team needs some additional time for polish before opening shop.
Interested players can sign-up for the beta test at the game’s website. I’ll definitely be throwing my hat in the ring as it looks like a complete blast. Nexon has many updates and tweaks coming alongside the open beta, including improved frame rate, HDR and NVIDIA DLSS 3 support, the latest version of Unreal Engine 5, 11 playable characters, and more.
