EA announces EA Sports UFC 5

EA has officially announced EA Sports UFC 5 and the headline is pretty much all there is to say expect that we will be getting a full reveal in September. 

Personally I have enjoyed these games but sadly it felt like EA UFC 4 took a step back from the previous games in the series. 

One thing that I really feel needs a complete overhaul is the career mode. It's remained largely the same over the last few games and they really need to update or add more things to do outside of fights and training. I want to be able to decide if I want to be an honorable fighter or an arrogant. The one thing I want to see in this series are actual weigh ins and having to make weight before a fight. Actual press conferences and social media interactivity would go a long way here. As of now these things pretty much mean short 5 second cutscenes before a fight or generic tweets on your faux Twitter account. 

As for a release date, if I had to guess I don't think we will be waiting very long. These games are usually announced and release just a few months later so my guess would be a November or December release date.
