While the cinematic trailer was one to pump the hype, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is now here and with it the launch trailer below. No need to putter around with a demo, the game is live on Steam, PSN, and Xbox marketplace for $15. It's also free with Xbox Games Pass and running 10% off at the moment on Steam.
Bookwalker is a unique game that centers around shifting between 1st and 3rd person perspectives to slide between the protagonists reality and into the fictional worlds of a few epic adventures on a quest to steal legendary items from each. Swipe Thor's hammer, Excalibur, and the Potion of Immortality and escape with the treasure back into reality. The game features turn based battles to evade and overcome both the law and other villains and also utilizes some crafting and puzzle mechanics. I've got a review coming in the next few days so keep an eye out for that.
