Cinematic trailers often don't really represent the game, but they can serve to get you hyped up. I'd say the trailer below for The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales falls into that category. The game itself is a narrative adventure game that swaps between a first person and a top-down isometric projection, but the trailer is a really peek into the story: the bookwalker infiltrating a novel to steal a wand from a mage stronghold. I even love how the mages channel classic Final Fantasy style with the oversized pointy hats.
The game itself puts you in the shoes of Etienne Quist, a writer looking for redemption who is offered a deal by a crime lord to turn thief and jump in and out of books to steal magical items from each like Thor's hammer, Excalibur, or the Potion of Immortality. Each of the six books presents its own challenges and rules
So while the game might be more isometric puzzle solving, the trailer is a beauty, and you can check it all out for yourself with the free demo available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1432100/The_Bookwalker_Thief_of_Tales/
